Introduction
Administrative privileges for the 42Q portal are located in the Administration menu heading. With the portal, Administrators are able to access privileges from one convenient location. Privileges include User Maintenance, Plant Maintenance, Site Maintenance, Profile Maintenance, and Generic Attribute Maintenance. Also located in the Administration menu heading are SFDC Administrator, Document Control, PTS Administrator, and LE Administration.
This work instruction is intended to guide administrators on how to manage and maintain the 42Q Portal, as well as to provide specific user groups a common sense of portal operation.
To access any of the Administration functionalities, the user must sign into the 42Q Portal and then select the Administration expandable heading located in the menu on the left of the screen.

Generic Attributes Maintenance
The Generic Attributes module allows users to set parameters that will be used at specific MES modules as described below.
To access the Generic Attribute Maintenance page, navigate to Administration>Generic Attribute Maintenance.

The main screen displays all defined generic attributes.
Filter Generic Attributes
The user can filter the results by Table and Attribute Name.
1. Enter the Table or Attribute Name in the appropriate field.
2. Select Filter to filter results or Clear to clear the filter fields.
(NOTE: The user can sort the columns alphabetically by clicking on the Table, Attribute Name, or Value fields.)

Add Generic Attribute
1. To add a Generic Attribute, select Add Generic Attribute located above the generic attribute list.
2. The Generic Attribute Form is displayed:

3. Select a Table and Attribute Name from the drop-down boxes in the form.
4. Enter a value in the Value field.
5. Select Save to confirm, Reset to clear fields, or Cancel to exit the form.
Editing Generic Attribute
1. To edit a Generic Attribute, select Edit Generic Attribute located above the list of Generic Attributes.
2. The Generic Attribute Form is displayed:

NOTE: The user is only able to edit the attribute value. The other fields are not available to be edited.
