SOP-5-I-MES0040-C RA1 Batch Process
Batch Process described here is a module in 42Q that provides a web page interface for performing Batch Processing operations. The functions that are available in the portlet are Create Batch, Split Batch, Merge Batch, Remove Unit, Add Component, and Add Sub-Attribute. |
Traceability
SOP-5-I-MES0041-C RA1 100 Traceability
This 100% Traceability module described here allows the operator to utilize hand placement and Fujitrax Rework. |
Data Collector
SOP-5-I-MES0042-C RA1 Data Collector
Data Collector module described here is a tool implemented on the shop floor that displays uploaded work instruction documents, deviations, CAD views of devices, and recorded and repaired defect codes, all based on unit serial scanning. |
Production Documentation
SOP-5-I-MES0043-C RA1 Production Documentation
The Production Documentation module described here is where the user can search and list work instruction documents without having to perform SFDC scanning. |
PTS Glossary
SOP-5-I-MES0044-C RA1 PTS Glossary
There are many technical terms and acronyms that are applied throughout the PTS flow. This Glossary serves as a tool to assist the user with the PTS work instructions for the 42Q Portal |
Labor Tracking
SOP-5-I-MES0045-C RA1 Labor Tracking
The Labor Tracking module described here contains functions that allow users to register labor records, and to add and edit labor hours. |
Label Engine
SOP-5-I-MES0046-C RA1 Label Engine
The Label Engine module described here is responsible for label creation. Using LE Labels, the operator can create labels using the MES system without the IT development team. |
Moisture Sensitive Device
SOP-5-I-MES0047-C RA1 PTS Moisture Sensitive Device
The control of MSD’s (Moisture-Sensitive Device) prior to SMT (Surface Mount Tech) reflow is a critical assembly issue that has a direct impact on final product reliability and customer satisfaction, as well as manufacturing costs. This function monitors all MSD components’ floor life statuses. The production operator is alerted if the MSD component’s floor life is expired. |
Production Part Traceability
SOP-5-I-MES0048-C RA1 PTS Production Part Traceability
The Parts Traceability System (PTS) is one of the applications within the MES suite of tools. It was developed to meet the demands of customers to provide component level traceability as well as required quality controls. The production traceability plays a very important role in automating the production lines and raising productivity as well as enforcing rigorous product quality control. This module contains information on load/prepare materials, special workstation, load SMT tools, scan board, and rework handling. |
PTS SMT Part Traceability
SOP-5-I-MES0049-C RA1 PTS SMT Part Traceability
The SMT Part Traceability module described here contains the EZpicklist, Show BOM, Feeder Registry, and Jig Registry. EZPicklist is a web-based interface to collect and manipulate SMT placement programs into PTS for material verification against the BOM (Bill of Materials). Show BOM allows user to view BOM, disable BOM or enable BOM. Feeder Registry is a feeding tool for material reels. It becomes a bridge between the material component and SMT machine. Each component must be loaded to one SMT machine at one particular station. This is only one of the essential elements for traceability. In order to distinguish each feeder, a unique printed barcode on each feeder is required and maintained in PTSWEB. |
PTS Tool Set Part Traceability
SOP-5-I-MES0050-C RA1 PTS Tool Set Part Traceability
The PTS Tool Set Part Traceability module is responsible for tool set creation. Using Tool Set Part Traceability, the operator can create or repair the label pallet and request inspection. |
CMMS Calibration
SOP-5-I-MES0090-C CMMS Calibration
CMMS Calibration portal: allows manufacturing plants to schedule calibration for measurement and testing equipment; verifies and ensures all assets are accurately set according to required specifications; and assists plants in meeting process requirements in accordance with regulatory standards. In CMMS, manufacturing teams define calibration frequency for the individual assets on their production floor; set calibration schedules per individual equipment units; receive email notifications prior to scheduled calibration; and record critical information (such as cost) for the purpose of reporting. |
CMMS Work Order & Preventive Maintenance
SOP-5-I-MDS0076-C CMMS Work Order & Preventive Maintenance
The main purpose of the CMMS - Work Order portlet is to create work orders with all data needed to perform equipment-related repair tasks. CMMS Preventive Maintenance portlet allows users to create regularly scheduled maintenance to help prevent negative events and to ensure the equipment on the shop floor is always in satisfactory operating condition. |
CMMS Spare Parts
SOP-5-I-MES0075-C CMMS Spare Parts
The Spare Parts portal of CMMS provides a comprehensive tracking system to manage the parts needed to maintain a plant’s assets. Administrators and operators receive, issue, and return parts; maintain warehouse stock; create purchase orders; and manage vendor information. |
CMMS Work Request
SOP-5-I-MDS0034-C CMMS Work Request The CMMS Work Request submodule is used by administrative personnel to assign, track, edit, and approve all equipment-related tasks. Employees assigned the task will then access one of the CMMS modules to complete the assignment. Examples of the types of tasks that may be managed from the Work Request submodule include ordering machine parts (Spare Parts), troubleshooting machine failure (Work Order), relocating an asset to another plant or production line (Asset), or defining a sub inventory to a locator (Spare Parts), to name a few. Please note that the work request submodule is only a management portal; real tasks are completed within the corresponding CMMS modules, as described above. |
OEE Data Collection Tools
42Q-MES0125-C OEE Data Collection Tools
The OEE Data Collection module allows users to report work times and machine downtimes. OEE Data Collection operates from a Portal Host, a URL that runs parallel to the MES system. Via this URL Conduit, Shop Floor Operators manually add machine downtimes due to stoppages that are not caused by machine malfunctions (such as parts in transit or lunch breaks), work times (labor), and quantity of good/bad parts produced at the completion of their shifts. Engineers use the host interface to input root causes for the stoppage based on the reason(s) provided by the shop floor operator, and machinery inspection results. There are two data applications available in the OEE system: Report Machine Down, and Report Work. |
Label Engine Labels
SOP-5-I-MDS0083-C Label Engine Labels
Label Engine is a web application that gives plants the ability to create, update, print and share labels without the need of IT resources. It enables plants to easily define and access various different data sources like MES, MESR, along with a variety of other database types. It allows users to map label fields to these data sources in order to create dynamic labels. It also enables plants to extract statistical information about the labels that are managed in Label Engine, as well as monitor the audit information. |
