SOP-5-I-MES0035-C RA1 Admin SFDC Administrator

This document provides instruction and support for operation of the Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) PC System.

The data configuration for SFDC PC is handled within the Manufacturing Data System (MDS), which is a complete factory automation system. The SFDC System uses barcode scanning, both manual and automated, to monitor and control a single product line or an entire plant. It can be used with the Customer Order Processing System (COPS), Statistical Process Control / Statistical Quality Control (SPC/SQC), or order entry systems.

SOP-5-I-MES0036-C RA1 Generic Attribute Maintenance

Functionality for registering attributes (flags) that will be used by some modules / functionalities to perform specific actions depending on the values assigned in this attribute.

SOP-5-I-MES0037-C RA1 PTS Administrator

This module is used to configure system parameters. Based on plant requirements, systems can be customized by changing system parameters. When PTS needs to be set-up or upgraded, the administrator should make sure the parameters are configured correctly. Once changes are submitted, they are effective immediately, so the administrator should take caution when changing system settings.

This module can also configure the deviation notes that are created to change/update BOM material when an alternate part is required, and then customize the error message that displays to the user.
